Every person carries within themselves countless possible paths, choices they could have made, and lives they could have lived. Sometimes we wonder: what if I had chosen a different university, career, city, or partner? Those paths remain within us as imagined parallel worlds, but only one becomes real—the one we walk. This painting is my way of expressing all those crossroads in life and the different versions of myself that could have existed had I chosen another path.
The painting is exhibited at the international exhibition “Parallel World”, taking place from August 27 to September 27, 2025, at the Association for the Development of Fine Arts “Beti Ford”, Zetska 2, Belgrade.
