FERDINAND

The inspiration for this painting was the well-known story of Ferdinand the bull, who by default is supposed to be aggressive, strong, unpredictable, dangerous, and whom I placed in the present time full of challenges, negativity, destruction, and meaninglessness, various monstrosities and non-humans, and who, despite everything and all that chaos of contemporary events, beneath the surface, beneath that exterior of his, remains gentle, dear, full of love and compassion, completely turned toward nature and the sincerity of his being.
