MASTER OF APPLIED ARTS

Nebojša Špica is a visual artist born in Pančevo on Dec.

From an early age, he showed a strong inclination toward artistic expression, and by the age of four, he had already started drawing and painting. At the age of seven, he entered first painting studio under the mentorship of academic painter Jonel Popović, marking the beginning of his artistic journey.

During his early youth, he participated in numerous international art colonies and received several awards for his work. He owes special thanks to academic painter Ivana Markez Filipović, who was a great support to him during that period.

After graduating from Tehnoart High school, he successfully enrolled in the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. The same year he graduated, he also enrolled in master’s studies in art, which he completed in January 2024.

In addition to his personal artistic work, he is also actively engaged in teaching art.

He has participated in numerous group and humanitarian exhibitions, and has also held a solo exhibition „Oases", this summer, in his hometown of Pančevo.

“Painting is my way of life, a space of freedom, expression, and discovery. Color is my language, emotion, and best friend, through it, I continuously discover new worlds, imagined like oases."

Currently, he continues to explore the world of abstraction more deeply, allowing intuition and emotion to guide his creative process.
