“Abstract Noveau” is a series that combines classic abstract expressionism with modern sensibilities and aspirations. As such, it introduces fresh, bright colors into the mesmerizing swirl of brush and spatula movements of classical abstract expressionism. Similarly, it introduces glimpses of background scenes, as if looking at them through wrong prescription glasses, even though the details are brought to life exclusively in the eye of the beholder.
“Busy Streets” is a triptych showcasing the concrete jungle in all its glory. It’s the battle of the opposites - the hustle and bustle, the creativity and destruction, the noise and music, the order and utter chaos, all contained within a concrete box with interconnected lines – busy streets – right in the middle of it all.
