Biljana Pejcic
Biography
My name is Biljana Pejčić, I am a professor of the technical group of subjects at the secondary and primary school in Vlasotinac.
My love for education and artistic creation has developed over the years, combining the discipline of technical knowledge with the freedom of artistic expression.
From a young age, I was surrounded by art, inspired by the works of my father, a talented fine artist, who passed on to me not only a talent for drawing, but also a love for creation. Although he was not lucky enough to fully realize his artistic potential, I decided to continue in his footsteps, as an amateur, nurturing my artistic gift and passing it on to new generations.
In my spare time, I devote myself to creating fine art works using acrylic paints on canvas. My works vary from authentic original works to carefully crafted reproductions, always filled with emotion and attention to detail. I am especially inspired by the dyeing of silk scarves, which I decorate with authentic motifs. Each scarf I create tells its own story, carrying with it a part of my soul and emotions.
In addition to individual creativity, I actively participate in various art exhibitions throughout Serbia. Some of these events are of a local character, while others have an international significance, which is how I successfully present my art to a wider audience and cultural scene.
With a lot of love and dedication, I hold workshops for children and high school students as part of local projects, drawing both on canvas and on porcelain, glass... passing on my knowledge and passion for art to younger generations.
My life is filled with art and creation. I see art not just as a job or a hobby, but as a way of living, expressing and connecting with the world around me.
