Biography

Tijana Stojičić was born in Belgrade in 1983 and holds a master's degree in English language and literature. She creates under the artistic name Tikka. As a contemporary artist, she has devoted herself to visual art in the field of abstract painting. Tikka creates paintings that employ mainly acrylics and mixed media. Apart from being a Serbian to English translator and interpreter, her passion is translating reality into art.

Her paintings are driven by emotions and depict a flirtatious game of the pinches of realismus and liberating abstractus. The gift of creativity has always been encoded in her DNA.

She creates and works in Belgrade.



Recent exhibitions and events:

June 2020 - International collective exhibition: "Belgrade Art Salon", the Gallery of the Heritage House in Belgrade (Galerija Kuće legata).

September 2020 - The first solo exhibition entitled "The Evocations" was held in the gallery of the Centre for Education and Culture "Božidarac 1947", Belgrade

September and October 2020 – „Belgrade Art Show – Art Matine“ collective exhibition

December 2020 - collective exhibition: „Belgrade Art Show – Art Weekend“ the gallery of the Centre for Education and Culture "Božidarac 1947", Belgrade

March 2021 - solo exhibition entitled "The Morphology of Hope“, Ostavinska Art Gallery in Belgrade

May 2021, year - collective exhibition, "Poktovica" gallery, "Vlada Divljan" Cultural Center, Belgrade

July 2021- solo exhibition, "Belgrade Art Show - Art Matinee", Belgrade

June 2023 - collective exhibition, Contemporary Art Fair Belgrade in „Cvijeta Zuzorić“ Art Pavilion (the first venue built specifically as an exhibition space, or an art gallery, in Serbia)
