Slobodan Gavrilovic - Gasha, was born in 1964 in Belgrade, where he completed his elementary, secondary, and higher education. For over two decades, he has been devotedly exploring wood as a material and its inexhaustible expressive power. He spent more than ten years in Prague, where he shaped his distinctive style and built a bridge between craft and art. 

Upon returning to Belgrade in 2021, he opened his studio-workshop, a place where works are created that blend the natural beauty of wood with a personal artistic seal. As a member of the Alumni Art 23 association, as well as independently, he has exhibited his works multiple times before the Belgrade audience.
