Biography
Srdjan Blagovic is artist from Serbia. He creates works of art using the pyrography technique. It is one of the oldest art techniques. Pyrography is the art of decorating wood or other materials with controlled burning. It is traditional form of art that is done with a heated tip or a redhot wire that ignites the substrate. In this way, a wide range of natural tones and shadows is obtained. Depending on the tip used, the temperature and the way the tips are placed on the base, different effect are achieved. It requires a lot of time and patience. It is done entirely by hand, and each line and each point is drawn separately. Possible mistakes can hardly be corrected.
