On the holiday of Archangel Gabriel ????
Saint Archangel Gabriel is a symbol of all that is good in humanity. On one of Serbia's most famous frescoes, "The White Angel," it is Archangel Gabriel who is depicted with wings spread wide and dressed in a white chiton. "The White Angel" has also been chosen by UNICEF as a symbol of Europe. This fresco in the medieval Mileševa Monastery, known as The White Angel, has been declared the image of the past millennium.
