Crowning, after P. Jovanovitch

Born in 1956 in Kragujevac. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Department of Painting. Attended postgraduate studies on the same faculty in the class of professor Cedomir Krstic. Member of ULUS (Serbian Art Association). He lives in Kragujevac and works as a teacher of drawing, painting and fine arts.

Miroljub Sretenovic is an experienced portraitist who specializes in oil and pastel, but is also well-versed with various materials, such as graphite, acrylic, sepia etc. Some of his works are exhibited in public places and some are part of numerous private house collections in the country and abroad. His portraits reflect his virtuosity to achieve not only physical resemblance, but to capture the spirit and beauty of models, as well as their inner personality and energy that makes each of his models unique.
