Icon of Saint George the Victorious Symbol of Courage and Faith

Mirjana Zivkovic, born in Belgrade, has been professionally engaged in painting for over two decades. She perfected her technique in watercolor and decorative painting in Italy, as well as in Belgrade under the guidance of academic painter Mihajlo Simidrijevic.

Throughout her rich artistic career, Mirjana has created in various fields—from watercolor, pastel, and oil on canvas, to painting icons according to the canons of the Serbian and Russian Orthodox Church. In addition to painting, she also engages in jewelry design and functional ceramics, imprinting an artistic seal on every detail.

To date, she has held numerous solo exhibitions of watercolors, icons, and paintings in galleries such as N.U. "Braca Stamenkovic", Galerija scene Crnjanski, and Galerija Madam 100, and has also participated in many collective exhibitions throughout Serbia.

Her paintings today adorn the walls of art galleries, monasteries, and private collections both domestically and abroad, bearing witness to a fusion of tradition, spirituality, and authentic painterly expression.
