The second drawing "Oncoming - first flickers" of the series "Battle" - the drawings represent the battle between nature and the elements of the modern world, such as buildings, where nature is shown as a force which strives to regain its dominance amongst the world that man has made.
This series explores the relation between the natural and the artificial, the internal and external world, as well as the fight between chaos and order. Nature depicts the unstoppable force of life, havoc and unpredictability which fights against the human urge for control, order, and structuring of the world.
