Nikola was born on July 5, 1948 in Starčevo, and he has been painting for about 40 years. So far, he has exhibited several times at group exhibitions, as well as at solo exhibitions. He was a member of the "Utva" section. Paja Jovanović and Uroš Predić are his role models. He chose the path of his own sentiment and painted only what he deeply felt from his soul, often returning to motifs from his early youth. His paintings evoke the life of people in the countryside in colors and compositions that radiate harmony and warmth. The technique is oil on canvas, and the stylistic direction is something between naive and realism.
