Voyage

The painting is conceived as a puzzle with pieces that do not fit, but when joined in a certain way, they form waves. During the work, the initial composition is masked, but its idea remains present.
As in life, we constantly seek the perfect moment, the instant when everything falls into place and finds its order. That moment never arrives, but the paths toward that goal are what make up life. Movements and searches. Until death, there is no standing still.
The colors and shapes are consciously chosen to evoke underwater spaces, partly due to personal fascination and partly as a metaphor for the world of emotions and life stories, where seemingly every being and every wave lives for itself, but all are moving somewhere, toward something.
