Biography

My works are divided into an abstract part and a part that is related to the realistic representation of shapes. I am a professor of the history of fine arts so that my education in the field of fine arts allows me to combine materials and techniques. I use clay, ceramics, porcelain, acrylic and additional materials that are suitable for combined techniques. Each of the techniques requires knowledge of materials and special working conditions. Adopted postulates about colour harmony, composition and the use of different materials help me in creating. Of course, the postulates are the basis to which my sensibility and experience are connected. I find inspiration in my surroundings, whether I'm listening to music (Quartet, Moonlight Sonata) or reading (Verse on Asphalt, The Mallow Colour Garden). For years I worked in a school for children with special needs. I studied their activities and creative work. Their uniqueness made me realize that all the beauty of life around us is made up of parts of our visions of reality (Nebula). The simplicity that is specific and the need to be understood. That is where my inspiration comes from. In order to express my artistic work, I chose those positive parts, worth noticing and emphasizing. I left out worry, sadness and lack of understanding.
