The artist Vesna Lekić deals with contemporary painting, which combines different materials and emotions into a unique art form.  Art has always been a part of her identity — I create out of a need to express what cannot be said in words.

He uses oil and acrylic, but I often experiment with unusual materials such as stone, glass and other textures on canvas. Her paintings are a combination of modern expression and personal inspirations that she draws from emotions, geographical landscapes and historical layers that she experiences and reinterprets through color, structure and form.

He works in education as a professor, which gives additional breadth and the ability to connect art with deeper life and social issues. He believes that art doesn't have to come from academia — but from an authentic need to create, feel and share.
