Four consciousnesses

Instead of a traditional, apocalyptic tone, these horses personify the inner forces of man: wild strength, suppressed melancholy, intuition, and an unstoppable search for light in moments of spiritual darkness. The two horses in shadow, on the side, remind us that parts of us are always hidden in darkness, but equally important for the balance of the whole.

Imperfection as soul: The visible texture and raw strokes on the canvas give the figures an organic, tangible patina of life. The horses are not sterilely precise; they carry the weight, sweat, and dust of the moment, giving the painting an authentic "soul" and a melancholic depth that draws the viewer in and does not allow them to look away.
