Drawing Thoughts is a part of my new and ongoing series of abstract drawings.

It is done on thick Old Mill paper with colored pencils.

The drawing is purely abstract, it is all about form and shape which I carefully "search for" until I am satisfied.  dominates. Once I am satisfied with the created form I clean up the unnecessary lines and decide on the color and the way I will "fill" the shape. This one is very rich in detail.

The form on this one seemed solid and I wanted to color it densely, imprinting the paper with the colored pencils I used. It felt almost visceral.
